把载货汽车上的发电系统直接用于城市公共汽车上,是造成城市公共汽车蓄电池早期损坏的基本原因。因为城市公共汽车上用的蓄电池承受着频繁的大电流放电,亏电严重,在汽车上又得不到及时补充。所以应设计或选用适合城市公共汽车用的充电系统,如选用空载、满载转速较低的交流发电机;提高交流发电机的传动比等。
