地理信息系统通过对地理数据的集成、存储、检索、操作和分析,生成并输出各种地 理信息,从而为各部门提供信息以及辅助决策。现代医学地理学研究中大量与宏观系统有关的 数据都具有空间分布特点,使地理信息系统成为医学地理学研究中有力的辅助工具。
The geographic information system is one for capturing, storing, checking, manipulating, analyzing and displaying data which are spatially referenced to the Earth. It can provide information and decision support for different departments. Data related to the macroscopically system in modern medical geography have the property of spatial distribution which serve as the potent assistant in the research of medical geography.
