摘要
本文分析了“畜”字的甲骨文形体 ,其形体下方部分即“胃”的形状 ,而上方部分则为通向胃的食管。“畜”的形体义指食草动物的胃。“畜”字的本义域构成为 :畜养[义素 ( 1 ) ]牲畜 [义素 ( 2 ) ]。《说文》对“畜”字的形体分析和词义训释均不确。
