A Comparison of Chinese and American Basic Ideas for Mathematics Curriculum

摘要 以中国《全日制义务教育数学课程标准》的"基本理念"和美国《学校数学的原则和标准》的"原则"为基础进行比较,同时也比较了中国《普通高中数学课程标准》,得出它们在六个方面的共同点,表明它们在基本思想方面有本质的一致性。还得出中美两国的课程标准存在着三方面的不同:阐述的范围不完全一样、行文的风格不同、对教师的要求不尽相同。"结语"中探讨了在数学教育中如何发挥自己的特色和如何"博采众家、发展自己"的问题。 It compares the Chinese and American mathematics curriculum based on basic ideas of the for Full-time Compulsory Education in China and the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics in America, and Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Common Senior High School is compared too. There are six common points in the mathematics curriculum standards of two nations that make known that the two standards are identical in the way of basic ideas. Between the two standards are three differences: ranges of explanation; styles of writing and demands on the teachers. In the conclusion the problem, is probed into, which is how to develop our characteristics in mathematics education and how to absorb others' advantages to improve ourselves.
