The works of Nalan Xingde, a noted Qing Ci writer, covered three topics:remarks when he accompanied the emperor to the frontier fortress,sentiments when he was away from his relatives and when his spouse died young and feelings when he visited some places of interests.These three interrelated topics were respectively involved in his less than fifteen years' writing. The perfect combination of his sentiments and his talent was a characteristic of his works that matched general aesthetics.
