Design of blank making roll forging for giant roll blank is short of reliable data and caleulating equations nowadays. Considering the specialties of the giant roll blank, the article analyses the effect of wear of forging pattern slot on the fin forming of roll blank, and proposes some effective methods, equations and data towards the key points of the design of roll forging patterns for reference.
