A Study on the Fund Management Business of Commercial Banks

商业银行设立基金管理公司近期成为人们关注的一个焦点。本文认为商业银行与投资基金之间在功能上是互补共生关系,与基金业的融合是商业银行弥补自身缺陷和应对各方面挑战的重要选择。基于这样的前提和基础,本文对我国商业银行介入基金管理的必要性和可行性进行了分析,并从对商业银行的影响、对基金业的影响和对金融监管的挑战等方面分析了银行设立基金管理公司的积极作用和可能带来的冲击。

The establishment of commercial ban ks' fund management company has become a focus of attention.This paper figures out the symbiotic and comple mentary relationship in the functio n between commercial banks and mutual funds.Banks should inosculate with funds for their defects and challenges in front of them.On the basis of this,the study d iscusses the ne-cessity and feasibility of the estab lishment of commercial banks' fund management company.At last the paper analyzes the ef-fect of the establishment banks' fund management company on banks,fu nds and financial market.
