The paper puts forward some points of view of the author about the waterproofing of the tube sections and joints of a river-crossing submerged tunnel, indicating that they should posses twofold waterproofing functions, and the construction types of outside waterproofing and also some types of GINA sealing strip, these can be taken for reference by our home colleagues.
