随着我国政治经济体制改革的不断深入和城市化进程的加速,城市社区在社会发展和现代化建设中的地位和作用日益凸显,城市社区建设已经成为中国社会发展中的一个战略性问题。作为全国社区建设实验区,南京鼓楼区在社区建设中以其突出的特点,为全国城市社区建设的运行机制及模式提供了值得借鉴的成功经验。

With the deepening of China's reform of its political and economic system and the speeding up of its urbanization course, urban communities are playing a more and more important role in the social development and modernization construction. The construction of urban communities has become a strategic problem concerning China' s social development. As a pilot construction community, Nanjing Drum-tower District offers a good example for the operation mechanism and mode of community constructions in other places of China in the construction of its community with distinct characteristics.
