THE STATUS AND TRENDS OF HISTORY AND CULTURE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THE WESTERN COUNTRIES

摘要 本文总结了历史文化旅游的特点。进而预测西方历史文化旅游将有如下发展趋势:1.文化吸引物的管理、筹资与营销变得更专业化;2.在全球化和区域化的背景下,政府和企业的强力推动使文化吸引物供应过剩,同时文化产业内部合作的缺乏,最终导致竞争的加剧;3.广泛运用网络、信息、虚拟等高新技术;4.必须采取新的手段来适应游客体验不断变化的特点。我们可以增加新项目、利用新主题组合旅游吸引物、举办大型城市或地方文化活动来吸引越来越多的旅游者和休闲者。 This article analyzes the characteristics of history and culture tourism. It focuses on the five characteristics of history and culture tourism cause in the contemporary western countries as follows: ①The importance of European historic and cultural attractions is being showed; ②The amount of the historic and cultural attractions is rising up rapidly and their situation in the strategies of the government and international organizations becomes more important; the culture attractions have been regarded as the symbol and Baal of global culture and they are playing important role in promoting the development of economy, culture and the harmony of regional culture. ③The cultural tourism has become one of the tourism items with high recreating rate and the culture tourism activities in the museums, the historic places, the galleries and the art centers have become the main current of European history and culture tourism activities.④The places with world culture heritages or famous state-class historic and cultural cities are often the consumption centers of the history and culture tourism; ⑤The reasons of cultural heritage tourism thriving in Europe lie in the new middle class growing and the presence of 'specific cultural tourists' estate. ⑥The industry of hotels is cooperating with tourism agencies to organize local cultural tourism. Moreover, the author predicts these characteristics of the intending history and culture tourism: ①management, collecting fund and marketing will become more specialized. ②Under the background of globalization and localization, the strong drive from governments and enterprises will lead to the surplus of the cultural attractions . At the same time, there is a short of cooperation in the cultural heritage industry. These eventually contribute to severe competition; ③The culture tourism industry will use high and new technology widely such as network, information technology and dummy. ④It will be necessary for taking the new methods to adapt to the characteristics of changing tourist experience.
