增城市2-12岁儿童单纯性肥胖的因素研究

Analysis on Obesity and its influential factors among children aged 2-12 years in Zengcheng

目的:了解增城市2～12岁儿童肥胖情况及影响因素.方法:以2～5岁儿童体重指数≥20kg/m2,6～12岁儿童体重指数≥21 kg/m2,并排除继发性肥胖作为儿童肥胖的诊断标准,于2003年1～12月间在增城市随机抽取6所小学及6所幼儿园共3 848名2～12岁儿童,在严格质量控制的条件下由专人负责对其家长进行儿童生长发育与家庭社会因素、睡眠健康问卷调查.结果:在调查的3 848名儿童中,肥胖儿童281人,肥胖率为7.3%.影响儿童肥胖的主要因素包括儿童年龄、父亲年龄、入睡困难、喜食鸡蛋等.结论:应针对相关因素进行预防,以保证儿童的健康成长.

Objective: To explore the Obesity and its influential factors among children aged 2-12 years. Methods: Excluded the secondary obesity, Obesity is diagnosed by BMI≥20 kg/m2of children aged 2-5 years and BMI≥21 kg/m2of children aged 6 - 12 years. Totally, 3 848 children, aged 2 to 12 years were randomly selected from six elemental schools and six kindergartens in Zengcheng under strict quality control system in January and November of 2003, their parents were interviewed with questionnaire to look into the growth and development of children、their familial and social environment, as well as sleep related factors. Results: The number of obesity is 281, the prevalence of obesity is 7. 3% among the all children, the influential factors in obesity include children's age, the age of father, the difficulty in sleep onset and like eggs. Conclusion: The preventive measures should be carried out to insure the growth and development of children.
