This paper describes the implementation and improvement of the service group-based multi-process checkpoint, and adopts a dynamic checkpoint time interval adjustment mechanism. Thus the impact of the checkpoint file on the application process is reduced. HACheckpointer is the core component of iHA, which is a high-availability system being developed based on the iSCSI.
