风险社会理论述评

A Review on Risk Society Theories

本文对风险社会的有关理论进行了梳理 ,并重点介绍了贝克和吉登斯为代表的制度主义的风险社会理论。风险社会作为一个概念并不是历史分期意义上的 ,也不是某个具体社会和国家发展的历史阶段 ,而是对目前人类所处时代特征的形象描绘。风险社会理论有助于我们清醒地认识我们当前所处的历史阶段、面临的挑战并作出合理的反应。

Theories of Risk Society are introduced with an emphasis on an institutionalist theory of Risk Society proposed by Beck and Giddens. As a concept, Risk Society does not mean a certain historical period or a development stage of some societies, but describes vividly the current times of human being. The theories will help us to understand the current situation and challenges and respond to them reasonably.
