摘要
随着数字地球概念在全球范围内的广泛讨论,作为数字地球六大关键技术之一的元数据技术更加引人关注。本文首先从对元数据标准的研究开始,介绍了元数据的定义及其特点。并在此基础上分析了一个基于XML的地理信息元数据系统GeoMorphe Meta,对其系统架构,模块功能进行了介绍。最后对设计中所涉及到的元数据的存储,管理,检索等技术问题进行了相应的讨论。
Along with the concept of digital earth discussed broad in the seven seas, as one of the six key technologies of digital earth, metadata catching more and more eyes. Starting from the research of metadata standard ,the paper introduced the definition and trait of metadata .On the basis of it ,we analyzed a XML-based Geospatial metadata system---Geomorphe Meta and introduced the system structure and the function module. At last, we discussed some technical problems about storage, management ,search of the metadata in the design.
