The role of Hejiang 20 on japonica rice breeding in Heilongjiang province were comprehensively evaluated,and a series of new rice varieties bred by using Hejiang 20 and derived varieties as important germplasm resources were introduced,so as to more germplasm which can be used in rice breeding and production.
