南京钟山南朝坛类建筑遗存一号坛发掘简报

Excavation of a Sacrificial Platform of the Southern Dynasties in the Outskirts of Nanjing

1999～2000年,南京市文物部门在南京钟山南麓发现并发掘了一组南朝时期的大型坛类建筑遗址,包括一号坛、二号坛和一处建筑遗存。 2000年主要发掘了一号坛,发掘区的主要遗迹为一座由石墙围护的方形祭坛体和东、西、南三面各四道依次降低的坛层。出土砖、瓦、瓷片及石雕莲花器座,均为东晋晚期到南朝遗物。结合《宋书》等文献记载、发掘者认为一号坛为南朝刘宋孝武帝所建的北郊坛遗存。

From 1999 to 2000, the local archaeologists discovered a group of large platform sites on the southern slopes of the Zhongshan hill. They include platform 1, Platform 2 and an architectural monument.Platform 1 excavated in 2000 consists of stone enclosure as well as a square body tiered on the eastern, western and southern sides. All of the unearthed objects such as bricks, tiles, potsherds and carved pedestal are survivals from the late Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties. Judging by A Book of the Song Dynasty and other literature, Platform 1 was a national ceremonial building erected in the reign period of Emperor Xiaowu.
