Li Da-zhao and His Study of Chinese Ancient History

李大钊接受马克思主义以后,运用唯物史观指导中国古代史研究,批判古史研究中的“黄金时代”说,侧重对古代社会经济生活的探讨,倡导用新的观点、新的研究视角、新的方法来研究中国古代史,开创了马克思主义研究中国古代史的新纪元。李大钊是运用唯物史观研究中国古代史的开创者。

Li Da-zhao initiated a new epoch in study of Chinese ancient history by Marxism. After accepting Marxism,LiDa-zhao investigated Chinese ancient history by the materialist conception of history. He criticized the viewpoint of gold-en ages,probed particularly into ancient economic living,proposed new points,new angle of view and new methods in theinvestigation of Chinese ancient history. Li Da-zhao was the pioneer in the study of Chinese ancient history by using thematerialist conception of history.
