铜桶是岭南地区极富地方特色的青铜容器，大约流行于战国晚期至西汉时期，最早出现于云南，然后南传入越南北部，东传入广西和广东，以西汉前期南越国时期在西江流域，即南越国当时所控制的范围内为限，在此范围之外尚未发现。是岭南地区土著文化中最著代表性的典型的器物。

Copper bucket is a kind of special bronze container in the Linnan area. It first came into being in Yun Nan, spread southward to thenorth of Vienam and eastward to Guangxi and Guangdong, became popular during the late Waring States Period to the Western HanDynasty. Up to now it has turned to be the most representative container of the local people. Most are of columnar shape with alarger jaw, pinching waist and short and small feet, similar style with the bronze drum of the same period.
