Textual criticism to the history of Gu Bi

姑蔑原本是生活在今山东半岛上古老的东夷族一支。商甲骨文有“蔑”字 ,西周文献未见姑蔑族 ,直到春秋隐公元年 (72 2年 )始见“盟于蔑”,对其蔑地 ,诸家考释皆已落实。春秋时期 ,姑蔑一直处于鲁之附庸地位 ,直到春秋末年 ,在吴越争霸战争中 ,姑蔑举族迁到越地 (今浙江龙游县 ) ,与越族交融 ,最后一起融入华夏文明中。清人误认为鲁地和越地出现的姑蔑族“不得混合为一”。

Originally the Gu Bi(姑蔑)nationality were one of the ancient Eastern Yi nationality where lived the Shan Dong peninsula,'Bi' appeared in Shang oracle bone in inscniptions,but didn't appeared in Western Zhou documents,until BC722,'alliance in the Bi'.Where is the'Bi'?many scholars have the same point.Gu Bi is a vassal kingdom to the Lu state,until the late Spring and Autumn.All of the Gu Bi nationality migrated to the Yue land(Long You country,Zhe Jiang province)in the period of contend for hegemony between the Wu State and the Yue state,then blend with Yue,at last to the civilization of Hua and Xia.The Qing Dynasty scholars misunderstand that the Gu Bi nationality is not the same one in the Lu land and Yue land .I didn't agreed this point.
