本文通过对英汉两种语言自身特点和规律的分析,探讨英汉互译中进行语言对比的可能性及其所起到的作用,强调翻译是对语言的再创作,实现这种创作可以通过对两种语言的对比得以实现.

This paper analyses the characteristics and patterns of the languages of English and Chinese, explores the possibility and the function of language comparison in mutual translation. It also emphasizes that translation is the recomposing of the target language which can be realized through the comparison.
