东山湾棘皮动物生态学研究初报

PRELIMINARY NOTES ON THE ECOLOGY OF ECHINODERMS IN DONGSHAN BAY

本文根据1981年7月至1982年8月在福建东山湾进行周年综合调查所获样品及有关资料,分析报道湾内棘皮动物的种类组成和分布、数量分布和季节变化及与环境因子的关系。

This paper analyses the distribution of echinoderms in Dongshan Bay, Fujian, Province and their relationship with the environment.According to temporary identification, there are about 59 species of echinoderms in the bay, of which most are subtropical species. Composition of the species is comparatively simple.Annual average biomass of echinoderms is high, being 54. 5g/m2. The large specimens are numerous in the bay, and they play an important role in the composition of biomass.According to distribution of echinoderms in the bay, three small concentrated areas might be found:1. Small concentrated area of Portankyra bidentata-Thyone sp. 1;2. Small concentrated area of Mensamaris intercedens;3. Small concentrated area of Amphiura divaricata ;The biomass of echinoderms in the soft muddy bottom is high and the diversity of species is low. On the contrary, the biomass in the fine sand bottom is low and diversity of species is high.
