The Yuan Dynesty's Gold-intaid Bronze Vessel with Chariot And Horse Designs

湖南省石门县的一个文物爱好者在石门著名的风景区壶瓶山镇收集了一件奇怪的铜鼎。2003年11月，笔者应邀前往鉴定，发现这是一件罕见的稀世珍宝——元代错金车马纹铜鼎。

The author holds that the bronze vessel unearthed at Shimen County , Hunan Province, is a gold-inlaid bronze vessel with chariot and horse designs made in the Yuan Dynasty. He gives two reasons: one is that the Yuan rulers were devout Buddhism believers, who used scriptures in gold and Shimen county is exactly a place where Buddhism used to prevail; second is that the motifs are similar to those of the bronze furnace with the inscriptions of the annals of the Yuan Dynasty.
