The monitoring of seepage around the dam is one of the important contents of dam safety monitoring and the monitoring result plays an important function in the analysis of the safety and stability of dams. This paper gives the reasons for and the method of reformation of the automatic around-the-dam seepage monitoring system in Ertan Hydropower Station, and introduces the implementation of the reformation.
