The U. S. has consistently taken the position that all kinds ofocean cargoes transported by liners should be under the supervision.It is extremely important for the liners to abide by American lawsand the regulations stipulated by FMC. In addition, there are manyrestrictions on the terms of the service contract, so either the inter-national freight forwarders or common carriers have to do detailedstudies in connection with the requirements for the law mentionedabove to avoidsevere punishment. In view of the importance weshould have studied the key issues concerned very carefully.
