Analyze the Linguistic Construction of Social and Cultural Realities from the View of the Communication of New Words

社会文化影响制约着语言的发展和变化。语言本身对社会文化也有建构作用。作为被赋予了意义的特殊符号———语言,它的传播也即意味着意义和知识的传播。本文借语义学和传播学的原理分析了这一过程。

Social and cultural factors influence and restrict the development of language, however, the linguistic construction of social and cultural realities also deserves our attention. Language in itself is a semiotic system which has been granted 'meaning', so the communication of newly invented words is the communication of meaning and knowledge. This process is analyzed by applying the theories of semantics and communication in this article.
