电子设计自动化(EDA)的关键技术之一是采用形式化方法来描述数字系统的硬件电路,VHDL是目前功能最大的EDA硬件描述语言之一。在介绍VHDL特点的基础上,结合设计实例进一步阐明VHDL的易学、简洁、灵活、高效的编程风格。
One of the key technologies in Electronic Design Automation(EDA) is the description of the hardware circuit in digital system using the formal method. VHDL is one of most powerful hardware descriptive languages. the grammar and structure of VHDL is introduced, and the simple and efficient programming style of VHDL is illustrated with an example.
