The state-owned commercial banks (SOCBs) reform is the central part of China's financial system reform, hence, the problem about the SOCBs being listed on the stock market is paid close attention by the public. The paper mainly concerns the advantages and disadvantages of the SOBCs' being listed on the stock market by analyzing the policy backgrounds, and points out that the SOBCs' being listed on the stock market is the inevitable choice of the SOCBs reform and development and international competition.
