帮助大学生正确认识西方政治文明成果 ,培养学生形成科学的政治文明观 ,既是“两课”教学的本质内容和必然要求 ,也是“两课”教学的神圣职责。这对于坚定大学生社会主义政治文明信念 ,提高其政治文明素质 ,推动社会主义政治文明建设 ,具有十分重要的现实意义。做好这一工作既需要解放思想 ,实事求是 ,澄清人们头脑中的模糊认识 ,切实提高“两课”教师的政治文明素养 ,又需要“两课”教学中各门课程相互配合 ,相互贯通 ,同时也要坚持理论联系实际的原则 ,以情感人 ,以理服人。

Helping college students correctly understand th e results of western politics and civilization and developing their scientific a ttitudes towards politics and civilization are the two-course teaching essence a nd necessity and also a sacred mission of the two-course teaching. It is of grea t significance for students to stick to the belief of socialist politics and civ ilization, heighten their sense of politics and civilization, push building soci alist politics and civilization forward. Doing well in this task doesn’t only d emand opening up the minds, seeking truth from facts, clarifying the obscure und erstanding, and enhancing the teachers’ accomplishment of politics and civiliza tion, but also needs combining the courses during the two-course teaching, being well versed in the courses, and meanwhile needs adhering to the principle of pu tting theory into practice and moving students with emotions and truth.
