摘要 反刍动物体内甲烷的产生是瘤胃内发酵能量损失的主要原因 ,减少甲烷的产生对提高饲料能量利用率和改善环境有重要意义。为调节和控制瘤胃内甲烷产量 ,需要对甲烷产生的代谢机制进行探讨。研究表明 ,甲烷菌与瘤胃纤毛虫关系密切 。 Production of ruminal methane is the main factor of energy loss in ruminal fertimentation and can't be utilized by the ruminant. Reducing the methane production is very helpful to improve the energy efficiency of feedstuffs and therefore protect environment. In order to control the methane production in rumen, more investigates about the metabolism mechanism of methane production should be achieved. Recent research showed that methanogens were associated with rumen ciliates. This paper was mainly to discuss the relationship between methanogens and ciliates.
