Necessary and Feasible of A New Round of Ore Prospecting in Bajiazi Lead-zinc(Pb-Zn) Mine

八家子铅锌矿是一个老矿山,从建矿初期到现在已开采30多年了,由于矿山只采不探,矿山资源日渐枯竭,面临倒闭的危险,有必要开展新一轮找矿工作,矿山虽然经过多次勘探,但矿区内找矿空间仍然很大,再加上新矿种—钼矿的发现,矿区内找矿潜力非常巨大,新一轮找矿不仅是必要的,同时也是可行的。

It is necessary and feasible that a new round of ore prospecting efforts should be made within the old Bajiazi lead-zinc(Pb-Zn) mine, because the gradual exhaustion of the resources arising from only minging but not prospecting indispensable reserves has brought out the mine being faced the corner of its closedown.But the potential and scope of oresearching is still great althongh orefinding work has been carried out several times,and detecting a new kind of commodity ,the molybdenum minerals also added to the confidence and chances of exploring a new ore deposit again.
