The article explains the characteristics of flood and waterlogging disasters in Dawen river catchment and analyzes its formation causes, puts forward some control thought and specific measures: putting prevention first, comprehensive control, systematic control combine with focal control, and flood control by looking into both its roots cause and symptoms.
