摘要
图像经过小波变换后 ,其能量聚集性、子带之间的相似性以及多分辨分析的特点使得小波图像压缩获得了很多的优势。如何有效地利用小波分解系数更好地表示图像信息是提高图像压缩性能的关键。本文从能量分布的角度讨论了基于小波变换后图像能量分布的特点 ,提出了两种根据系数能量的分布选择系数的压缩方法 ,通过试验和其它方法进行对比 ,按分解等级归类小波子带的压缩方法可提供更高效的压缩性能。
Wavelet has good performance in the image compression for its convergence of energy and similarity of sub-bands after wavelet transformation. The key issue of improving the wavelet compression performance is how to efficiently organize the wavelet coefficients and to describe the information of image. Considering the energy distribution of wavelet coefficient, this paper investigated the characteristics of the rule of energy distribution, based on which two new proposed compression methods were examined and some useful conclusions were drawn.
