The measurement of the profile data is an important link in the motorcycle design ,and is a bridge connecting the mock-up with the digital model of the three-coordinate measuring machine .three-dim ensional laser scanner and Atos flowing optical scanner which are used to measure motorcycle profile data, the Atos is the most proper instrument to do the job .
