当前城市雕塑的几点思考

Simple Analysis on the Issues of City Sculpture

随着我国城市建设步伐的加快,城市雕塑作为城市文化的有机构成元素在城市文化符号体系中扮演着越来越重要的角色。但中国城雕的问 题不少,各种文化品位极低的雕塑充斥街头、广场。为了促进城雕事业的健康发展,我们必须采取加强美育、健全管理体制等措施,以期使当前城市 雕塑面貌得到根本改观。

With the rapid progress of the urban construction in China, the city statues, being the carrier of cultural character of the city, are playing a more and more important role in beautifying the appearances of the cities. However, there exist many problems in Chinese city sculpture, large number of statues with low-grade cultural taste full of the streets and public squares. The causes for this phenomenon vary. In order to promote the healthy development of the city sculpture, we must strengthen aesthetics education and perfect the management system to change the appearance thoroughly.
