戏剧冲突是推动戏曲情节发展的关键 ,《西厢记》的戏剧冲突由什么构成 ,历来有许多说法。笔者认为都在一个“错”字上 ,既有时间、地点、人物身份等的错误 ,也有张生对诗意理解的错误 ,正是这一个个的“错”组合成了一出精彩的好戏。

Conflict is the driving force pushing the drama forward. There are many analyses on the contents of dramatic conflicts in The Western Chamber. The paper holds that all these conflicts are attributable to one word “wrong'. Ther e are mistakes concerning to the time, the place and the identity. Mistakes also arise from male protagonist's poetic interpretation. It is this series of 'mist akes' that constitute a splendid play.
