This paper gives an imtroduction to the development of smart card read/write equipment used in the pre\|charging system, by which the data can be communicated with the gas pre\|charging management system via computer serial port,and be read or written to SLE4442 smart card. It offers a double\|faced LED display of the amount of the gas sold and the amount of money that the customer may pay.
