During the period of Chunqiu Warring States, 'Fangcheng' had an important position in the Chu nation′s political and military history. Where had it been? For many years, there have been many different opinions among the investigators. In this text, the writter has probed the source of the meaning of Fangcheng, and also has researched that Fangcheng as North pass of Chu nation was between Chuangwangzhai mountain and Bao mountain in Bao′an Town, Ye County, Henan province.
