摘要
Social sciences became a great national resource and the important knowledge bases for American and British governments. They gradually learned how to make the policies to develop them and to make use of them for the ruling of the countries. The social sciences helped the governments to regulate the social relations and to control the social conflicts. They played an increasing role in making policies, understanding social problems, analyzing social movements, etc. In this sense, the social sciences have become a necessary scientific part of the modern ruling system. However, some problems still exist in the relations between social sciences and government regulations.
