摘要
本文将判别分析应用于海浪,目的在于分辨它是风浪或是涌浪。以深水波和浅水波的较广泛数据建立相应的判别函数。就所检验的例子而言,所提函数给出的结果与实际海浪的符合较现有判据的为好。
The discriminatory analysis is applied to the discrimination of ocean waves in this paper, i.e., are they wind waves or swell?The correspondent functions of discrimination are separately founded on a wide range of data on deep-and shallow-water waves.As far as the cases examined are concerned, the results given by the proposed functions show better agreemant with actual ocean waves than those based on the existing criteria within the wind speed range of 1～31.38 meters per second.
