Remodeling of the Atrium in Architecture Department Hall of Tianjin University

为配合教学模式和技术手段的改变,天津大学建筑馆对原建筑中庭进行了改扩建,新旧建筑空间相互渗透、穿插、借用,并有效地利用一狭长的天井,使新建筑馆的物理环境、空间环境都得到改善和提升,为建筑学院的发展提供了良好的物质条件。

For adapting the change of teaching andtechnology, the original atrium in new department building isrebuilt and extended, where the new space and the old comple-ment each other, and the old patio gets efficient utilization. Itgets improvement and upgrading on the new building's spaceand the physical surroundings, and offers a good conditionfor the development of college.
