The Application of Equivalent Relationship in Teaching Coset

探讨离散数学课程的教学教法。对于其中代数结构部分的陪集一节,应用已经熟知的等价关系和划分的概念,通过引例导出由子群定义的等价关系———陪集关系,进而得到群的划分———陪集,再研究陪集的性质。将课程的前后概念串联起来,是一种比较易于理解,实际教学效果良好的讲授方法。

The teaching methodology about the course of Discrete Mathematics is concerned. With regard to the section of coset in algebraic structure, a series of well-mastered concepts including equivalent relationship and division are applied, and typical examples are cited to introduce the conception of equivalent relationship-coset relationship defined through subgroup. This way the division of group, i.e. coset and its nature can be drawn explicitly. This teaching mythology, which combines previously learnt concepts with newly presented ones, turns out to be flexible and efficient and therefore, is well received by students.
