摘要
随着视频点播系统的日益普及,利用普通PC架构一个可支持大并发流且具有良好扩展性的视频点播系统成为一个有现实意义的课题。该文提出了采用LVS负载均衡技术支持大并发请求,并且结合SAN网络解决了通常VoD系统存储量小、共享存储不易实现等问题,使系统性能得以较大的提升,且具有良好的可扩展性。
With the prevalence of VoD,it is a practical issue to build a scalable VoD with PC server to handle high concurrent multimedia stream. This article brings forward a LVS method to support high concurrent stream. What's more, combining with SAN technology, it can resolve the problem of huge storage as well as shared storage, and thus greatly improve the systems' performance. Also, the whole system is scalable.
