居住社区是以城市为物质表现的人类文明,既能保持相对独立性,又成为其重要组织结构。在对居住社区概念作出解释后,笔者通过沙区凤鸣山社西物市场旧城改造的概念性规划,阐述大盘住宅小区向社区化,“城”式化发展的趋势,并强调居住社区的城市功能、空间密度和人的活动复合性。

Dwelling area, the humankind hylic civilization displayed by cities, remains relative independence and is the important organization makeup of cities. After interpreting the concept of dwelling area and based on the concept layout of the old city reconstruction in Fengmingshan Xiwu Market, author expatiates the tendency: the big dwelling house becomes dwelling area and city, and emphasizes urban functions of dwelling area, space density and complexity of human activity.
