摘要
本文评述了近期材料科学与工程领域研究与开发的趋向。着重揭示基础研究,新工艺、先进的材料测试技术和新材料之间的密切关系,并试图说明今后的材料研究将有赖于各学科之间的共同努力。
Current trends of R & D in materials science and engineering have been reviewed. The emphasis of this article was on the relation among basic research, novel technology, advanced techiques of analysis and charac-trization of materials, and new materials.An attempt has beenmade to show that future research on materials will continue to reguire increasingly diverse interdisciplinary effort.
