摘要
目前职业院校的英语教学面临着两大挑战:学生原有的英语基础非常有限,现存的英语课程体系与社会的需求还有一定的距离。此文对职业院校英语学科的教学目标、教学对象、教学内容、教学方法、教学评价和师资队伍的现状进行了分析,并提出了几点设想。认为要提升职业院校的英语教学质量就应做到坚持以实用口头交际为主线的听说训练,坚持以应用文献阅读为主的阅读训练,坚持以模拟套写应用文为主的写作训练。
At present,ELT in the vocational and technical institute is confronted with two major challenges:students' limited knowledge in English and the contradiction between English syllabus and social demands. The article makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the problems in teaching objective, students' learning demands, teaching material, methodology, evaluation, etc. and provides some possible and suggestive solutions to these problems.
