The paper compares the differences between the Anglo-saxon model and the German and Japanese model in the corporate governance.The comparison is then related to the relation between the corporate governance models and the corporate growth patterns in the two pair of representative nations.On the basis of such comparison,the paper analyzes the financial roots of the differences.It concludes by pointing out the major merits and defaults and their implications on the Chinese corporate governance and growth.
