In the Eastern and Western Han dynasties, the theory of fate about the interaction between heaven and man, about the disaster and condemnation, is a political double-edged sword of imperial authority, not only laying an ideological foundation for the supreme, divine authority of emperors, laying an ideological foundation for the complete unification of political situation, but also functioning, self-questioning to the imperial politics. And the theory includes both the ideas of traditional benevolent government and popular political measures, and Confucian views on political systems.
