摘要
基于DCT交流系数均方和与其变换前的像素域方差相等 ,该文用DCT交流系数的均方和代替像素域的方差 ,在视频编码的TMN8码速率控制算法中采用一种新的率模型 ,从而提出了一种新的TMN8码率控制算法———RC_TMN8_MSACC .这种新的算法不仅在保持性能的同时降低了运算复杂度 ,还具有鲁棒性好和应用范围广的特点 ,适用于视频转码编码中 .实验表明该算法具有性能好和运算复杂度低的优点 .
Based on the fact that the mean square of AC coefficients(MSACC) in DCT is equal to the variance before DCT, the MSACC is introduced into the rate model in TMN8 rate control methods instead of variance in pixel domain, and a novel TMN8 rate control algorithm, which is called RC_TMN8_MSACC is proposed. The new algorithm decreases the computational complexity and keeps the same performance as RC_TMN8 as well, furthermore, it is robust and can be popularized in DCT based video transcoding. Experiment shows that this new algorithm is as valid as the TMN8 rate control method.
