闲暇教育对中小学生的发展具有举足轻重的意义,图书馆与闲暇教育联系最为密切。在应试教育依然"升温", 假期、双休日各种补习班铺天盖地向学生扑来的今天,我们应充分发挥图书馆的闲暇教育功能,给中小学生创造一个自主性学习的自由天空。

Leisure time education holds the balance to the development of middle school students and primary school pupils, and libraries have much to do with leisure time education. The author suggests that attentions should be paid to leisure time education despite of the 'heat' of all kinds of classes for supplementary schooling.
