The Design and Implement of the Communication between Bluetooth Host and Host Controller Based on HCI

蓝牙是一种短距无线通信技术,用于替代数字设备和计算机外设间的电缆连接以及实现数字设备间的无线组网。作为蓝牙模块和主机间的软硬件接口HCI,可对控制基带与链路控制器、链路管理器、状态寄存器等硬件提供统一接口。通过HCI进行蓝牙主机与主机控制器之间通信,可以避免深入研究蓝牙低层传输协议而建立起蓝牙无线连接。基于主机-主机控制器模型所设计的蓝牙电话应用模型,通过在HCI层的流程控制,成功实现了蓝牙电话的功能。

Bluetooth is a short-distance wireless communication technique. It is used to substitute the cable between digital device and computer outset. It also can create a wireless network betwixt digital device. HCI is the interface between software and hardware of Bluetooth module and host. It offers a uniform interface to control the Baseband & Link Controller, Link Manager and state register. It does not need to study complicated details of Bluetooth specification that create communication between Bluetooth host and host controller via HCI. Based on the Host-Host controller module, the author designs and realizes a practical module of Bluetooth phone. The implement proved to be convenient, credible and applicable.
